Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! We spent Thanksgiving with Mike's side of the family, and they always go to his aunt's house in Springfield.

Mike and the older kids went up the night before. I decided to drive up that day because Oliver was only a week old. I was a little nervous driving by myself with him because it takes 1 1/2 hours. He slept the entire way!

 Mike's cousin, Skylar.

 Mike's cousin, Shelby.

Mike's aunt, Sharman, really likes to sew and quilt. She was teaching Mia how to sew a baby blanket.

First Days Home

We have been enjoying our baby so much! We are so in love with him. He is so sweet. The kids fight over who gets to hold him.

Oliver only cries when he's starting to get hungry. He is breastfeeding really well. I don't feel quite as tired as when the other kids were newborns. Maybe I'm just used to sleep deprivation!

This is one of Ethan's baby outfits. It brings so many memories back!

Great Grandma Krause came to visit!

They all made a silly face. Grandma is as goofy as the kids!

Going Home

I stayed the full two days in the hospital and Mike stayed with me as well. It was nice to have him there and it was a nice bonding moment for the three of us. We were all ready to get back home and see the other kids.

This is one of Ethan's outfits. It's so cute and reminds me of when he was a baby.

There's nothing like bringing a newborn home in the dead of winter! We will be hibernating until flu season is over.

The moments in the hospital after my babies were born are some of the most special and memorable times for me. I love every minute of it.

Hospital Pictures

A photographer came to take Oliver's pictures while we were in the hospital. She said he was the calmest baby she has ever photographed. I hope he stays that way. I thought they turned out pretty good.

This is one of my favorites. He looks so cute.

This is one of my favorites. I think I'll photoshop the "I'm a Sanfor KID" off of his onesie and use it on our Christmas cards.

I love the open eyes.

...and wrinkly feet.
