Happy New Years!

This is a little late, but I hope everyone had a good New Year's! We had some good friends and family over to our house. We decided to go with a Mexican theme. I always get stressed out trying to plan a party, but it went well. (I hate doing all the cleaning!) There were plenty of little ones running around. It was fun to watch them all interact. Mia kept following Lillian (my good friend Melissa's daughter) around and patting her on the back. Every once in awhile, her pats would get kind of hard. Lillian didn't seem to mind the pestering. None of the kids except for Rhea (my good friend Mandy's daughter) made it up to midnight. We didn't get too wild or crazy. It must be old age setting in!

My niece, Jude.

Miss Riley with the hat on. I didn't really want to be in the picture, but this is the only one with Riley wearing the hat!

Lillian. I think she hated the hat the most!

Skinny Jeans

Aunt Kelly bought Riley skinny jeans for Christmas. I didn't know they made skinny jeans for babies.

We couldn't get them up past her thighs.

She fell over when we set her upright because they were too tight.

Time to take them off!

Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a fun Christmas. I'm sad that it's all ready over! Christmas is my favorite holiday by far. Mike's parents and brother came to our house for Christmas. We were planning on going back to Chamberlain, but it was much easier for us to have everyone here. Packing up three small kids is no small task. Plus, they never seem to sleep very well when we're away from home.

We had 18.5 inches of snow over Christmas! I love it when it snows. We have tons of pine trees in our yard, and they are so pretty with all the snow. However, being cooped up in the house made us all a little crazy. Ethan helped Grandpa Tom and Mike shovel the sidewalks and our driveway. He lasted at least an hour outside, which was good considering how cold it was!

We went to church on Christmas Eve. We didn't have the best seats and couldn't hear much, but we tried! We came home and ate. Grandma Andrea made a bunch of different appetizers that were really good. She brought peanut butter cookies with hershey kisses in them which Ethan and Mia loved!

We opened presents after we ate. Ethan and Mia really got into it this year. They loved ripping the paper off. It was fun to watch them. Ethan got some clothes, pajamas, a t-rex dinosaur, a book, a puzzle. Mia got some clothes, pajamas, My Little Pony's, a baby einstein laptop, a book, a puzzle. Riley got some clothes, pajamas, a penguin toy, a puzzle. My parents bought them a Radio Flyer spring horse, which they have a blast riding.

Snowed in!

Helping out.

Still helping.

Our Christmas tree. The bulbs didn't make it on this year. Two little people would not leave them alone. In fact, they broke half of them!

Ethan's first present, an Elmo book.

Mia's first present, a Mickey mouse book, which I have to take back because the guitar doesn't work!

Riley's first Christmas present, a pink sweater dress.

I love this picture!

Goofy Mia.

Goofy Ethan.

Kisses for Grandma.

Busted! Trying to get our cell phones. She's very persistent.

Big smile. You can kind of see her teeth.

Cheesing out.

Playing with her cute little toes.

Kisses for Grandma. There's nothing better than a wet slobbery baby kiss!

Getting a kiss on the cheek.

Getting hungry!

Holding onto her peanut butter cookie. She will seriously carry her food around for a good hour. She wants one for each hand and she'll eat one and carry one around.

Mia and Uncle Mark.

Mia in her Christmas outfit. She wore the same dress last year. She's such a little shrimp! Saved us some money! :)

Showing off.

Riley's new Christmas dress. Cute!

Crazy Family Pictures

After posting the "normal" pictures, I thought it'd be funny to post the crazy ones. I think they're more fun to look at! Enjoy!

I wonder what he's thinking about?

Yeah, I think he's pretty much picking his nose!
