Mullet Girl

I kind of forgot about this video. The first time Riley saw her missing tooth, I almost died laughing. I wish I would have recorded it.

So, I wanted to video her seeing her hair for the first time. She kept telling me her hair "died." Here's my mullet girl.

Singing Away

One of my favorite things is listening to the kids sing! Here's a video of them singing one of their favorite songs. Warning--it'll get stuck in your head! :)

Dance Time

The reception was at a bar called, Monks. It's actually a fancy beer bar. They have around 200 different kinds of beer or something crazy like that.

We had appetizers and three very good very strong beer kegs. We brought a laptop in so we could listen to some music and once everyone was done eating, we danced a little!
Sucking down the free pop. The kids took advantage of that!

Both Noah and my dad like that whistle song by Flo-rida. My dad thinks it sounds Caribbean-ish. :)

My mom was pretty funny that night. She doesn't drink a lot so that very strong beer kicked her butt a little!

My little brother, Billy. He started college this year, which I still can't believe!
My dad kept telling my mom to slow down. Haha.

This is how the little girls danced all night. They saw their second cousin doing some fancy spin moves and they tried to copy him the entire night. That's Jude's butt sticking up.

Hahaha. My mom. I have no idea what she was doing. I have no idea why we're all hunched over either.
My mom and her sister, Beth.

Eric was trying to show my mom some dance moves.
Here's the best move of the night!

Going To The Chapel...

Sarah and Steve were married September 1st! Sarah had a good friend as a matron of honor and Steve had his brother for best man. Janai, Noah, and Jude were flower girls and ring bearer. It was a small but intimate wedding.

After the ceremony, we went and took family pictures and then it was on to the reception. I'll add the reception photos later because this was getting long!
Sarah looked beautiful in her gown. It almost looked like there were feathers on the bottom, but it was little strips of fabric.
Noah looked so cut in his bow tie. These two get along pretty well. This family is overloaded with girls, so the boys have to stick together.
My dad's corvette. I still can't believe he has one.

My dad would cringe if he knew we were all sitting on it! :)

We went downtown Sioux Falls for our family pictures. It was very pretty!

Hands off ladies. He's all mine!
The "Krause girls" minus Sarah. From the left: Amber, Jenna, me, and Kelly.
Our entire family. My parents, their seven children, their spouses, and seven grandchildren. You can see how it gets crazy when we all get together. We usually try and squish into one house.

I never realized how photogenic Shayne is. It's not fair. Men shouldn't be photogenic! :)
Our sassy picture. I can't wait to see the photographer's pictures.
One of our best family photos to date except that I have a goofy look on my face.

Evan's Baptism Weekend

August was a really busy month for us! We traveled to St. Cloud for my nephew's baptism, which was on August 25th. We had such a good time hanging out with everyone. We all crammed into Amber and Shayne's house. They are such good hosts. You feel right at home!

There was a free spray park near their house, so we took the little kids and let them burn off some energy. The weather was really weird that day and was almost cold. The kids were freezing, but they kept on running through the water.

Yes, Ethan managed to get all muddy. We put his freezing butt back in the water. We're mean like that!

Kelly and Eric took the kids to a bouncy house later Saturday afternoon. It started off good until Jude had an accident. She peed her pants sliding down one of the slides. And then she ended up pooping her pants as well. We didn't send any extra clothes with, so Jude had to sit in her wet and stinky pants until the other kids were done. Kelly was ready to hand the kids off when she got back to Amber's. :)
We woke up Sunday morning and headed to church. Evan was ready for a nap hence the look on his face.
I love my toothless boy. I'm so used to him missing his front tooth that I don't really notice it anymore.
I think Matt is still getting used to being around our chaotic family. He hangs in there pretty well. Matt and Jenna want a ton of kids, so this is good practice for him.
My sister, Jenna, with Janai and Riley.

He wasn't too impressed with the whole thing.
He's looking at the priest like, "what the heck did you do to me?"
I wish you could see Evan's face better. The look on his face when the priest grabbed him from Amber was priceless. He had that deer in the headlights look.
Eric and Kelly. He's also trying to get used to being around our family. He does pretty well.

All of the cousins except for Noah. From the left: Riley, Jude, Ethan, Mia, Janai holding Evan
We had to leave for church by 9:45am. At 9:15am, my mom comes into the room where I was sleeping and asked me if I was going to get up and get ready for church. :) That explains why my hair is a mess!
