Oliver's Baptism Part I

We had Oliver baptized on February 22nd. We chose my brother, Will, and Mike's cousin, Chloe, to be his godparents. We had quite a few family members come.

This is Mason, my nephew, and my sister, Kelly. He's three months older than Oliver.

He looked so handsome in his baptismal outfit. My older sister, Amber, said he glowed because of how light his skin is.

My boys. They look so handsome.

This is, Chloe, Oliver's godmother. We know she will do a great job. She's so good with our kids.

Returned to Work

I returned to work yesterday. I was sad going in, but I didn't cry. I only had to do a half-day which was nice. It also made it easier because Mike took this week off to watch Oliver. Next week, my mom will be coming to watch him. Mike's parents will come the week after that.

Traci will start taking him the beginning of April. I hope he will be easy for her!

Ash Wednesday

There's something really funny about seeing a baby with a cross on his forehead. He was good in church, but he doesn't like being in his car seat.

It's equally as funny seeing little kids with ash crosses.

He will still take his binky on occasion but I think it's coming to an end. I wanted all of my kids to be binky babies but none of them were!

Random Pictures

I had to bring all four kids to Riley's physical therapy appointment. I decided to wait in the lobby with the other 3 so she could concentrate better. Why not take some pictures while we are waiting?

I just love these pictures. All three kids decided to sleep in Ethan's bed. I don't let them do this on a school night because they stay up way too late and they don't get much sleep.

Riley isn't much fun to sleep with. She somehow is upside down by the time morning comes. Her feet are right in your face and she tends to kick you in the head and back as well.

I have to go back to work in a week. I'm so sad to go back.

It was a nice sunny day out. I thought we all could use some fresh air. It was very bright though.

Riley's Physical Therapy

Riley has been in physical therapy since July. She had been having an increasing amount of daytime accidents. I kept bringing her to the doctor because I thought she had a UTI. I came across a brochure on physical therapy for bladder incontinence. We started in hopes of having her accident free by kindergarten. We didn't quite make that goal, but she's getting better. The physical therapist places electrodes close to her muscles by her private parts. She works on kegel exercises and can monitor it on the computer. We were going weekly, but the time for appointments and the cost made us go down to every two weeks.

We have quite a few exercises we do with her at home. We work on kegel exercises and some physical jumping tasks. She is also on daily miralax, which she absolutely HATES taking. It's a battle to get her to take it every night. It can have a funny taste and I've mixed it in everything imaginable to get her to take it. Many accidents are caused by constipation and the ultrasounds show that she is very constipated. I'm hoping she gets better soon!

Broke out the Bumbo

The bumbo is one of my favorite baby accessories. It's so convenient to move around and keeps the baby in place. Oliver likes sitting in it for small amounts of time. He has pretty good neck control. He is 10 weeks old in the pictures.

I go back to work in two weeks. I'm so sad to leave him. He will be in good hands. My daycare provider had a baby so she's on maternity leave as well. My mom and Mike's parents will take turns watching him for the next six weeks. It makes it easier to leave him.
