Thanksgiving Weekend

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! We stayed at home and my entire family came--all 21 of them. It was chaotic, of course, but also fun. Sarah hosted the actual Thanksgiving dinner and it was very good!

We did some Black Friday shopping but nothing crazy. We were at the mall about 2 pm. None of that midnight stuff for us! It was fun being able to hang out with my sisters. It's nice that I have four automatic best friends. You can't ask for anything better than that!

We ended the weekend with a case of stomach flu and strep throat. My brother, Billy, got sick, who in turn gave it to my older sister, Amber, and my niece, Janai. My other brother, Nathan, came down with strep. I'm crossing my fingers none of that gets to us.

Eric and Kelly. He surprised her and came for Thanksgiving.

They're making "Grandpa's Rice." The recipe was passed down from my Grandpa Hank's family. It has saffron and tons of cheese in it. Very good!

The turducken--a chicken inside of a duck inside of a turkey. Mike and Steve wanted to give it a try. It was pretty good. It was completely deboned, so it was all meat. It was a little weird because you didn't know exactly what you were eating.

Matt and Jenna, the newlyweds.

Jenna played dress-up with the girls. She put old flower girl dresses on them.
