Happy Belated Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's! Ethan and Mia gave me plants for Mother's Day that they made in preschool. I absolutely LOVE them. Mia's is on the left, and Ethan's is on the right. I love that they gave me a handmade gift. They were so proud of them too. They've both been dumped out several times and I'm surprised they are still alive!

I had to work the entire weekend of Mother's Day. Mike's parents came up and we grilled out on Sunday. I ended up with a migraine on Sunday, so I did call into work. I spent the entire day lying done. Migraines are the worst! Consider yourself very lucky if you've never had one!

We bought a couch from Sarah's future mother-in-law to replace the ugly purple sectional downstairs. (The previous owners of the house left it here.) It made such a huge improvement in the way the downstairs looks! Mike asked if the couch could be my Mother's Day present. I told him that if it's going to be my present for Mother's Day, it's also his present for Father's Day. :) There's no way that I'm getting a couch and he gets something electronic!
